OG WIN "Florida's Next Big Artist"
OG Win! The Name Speaks Volume but His Music Speaks Louder! Truly an Undeniable Artist. Florida’s Next Big Artist! OG Win Was Born to RAP! A Once In A Generation Artist!
“Basketball was actually my first love when I was growing up”. OG Win was a young kid who was born in Bradenton, FL but was raised In Sarasota, FL just freestyling with his older brother and friends off instrumentals on his PlayStation 2. Also he was in several rap groups from elementary school to High School. Rapping with friends for fun. He started out with one of his close friends who now has his own label that’s doing very Well. As time progress he created several groups with family and friends rapping on radio boxes and during school. He was also rapping in garages on friends’ laptops. Still he was not taking the music seriously because he was committed to basketball.
Fast Forward, OG Win moves to Tallahassee, FL and eventually gave up the basketball dream because the growth of music began to strike his interest even after being offered an opportunity to continue playing sports, but by then it was too late OG Win had already experienced an official studio. After some time working on his craft, around the time he moved out of his hometown to Tallahassee, FL OG Win drops his first song off “Dead President“ instrumental A JAY-Z Song. Well After dropping that song, OG Win realized he wanted to be original from the start of his career. He did not want to rap over any previous beats that another artist has Rapped on. So, he went on to create Amerikkkas Knightmare! After receiving a lot of positive feedback. That song alone created a lane for OG Win and he went on to Drop his first solo Project. “I Pledge Allegiance To My Generation”. This project showed that OG Win would be a force once he enters the Rap Game. He is a once in a generation artist, with his rhyming skills, high level poetry and metaphors on top of very creative wide range of instrumentals. Watch out guys!!! OG Win Is coming and he is a force to be reckoned with! He considers Jay-Z, Master P, Dmx, Nas, 2pac, Biggie, Lil Wayne, and Eminem was a big inspiration to his music. OG Win has one studio album out that’s still receiving new fans daily even though it dropped 3-4 years ago the project was definitely ahead of its time. Also, he has multiple visuals for many songs off the project. OG Win created his own label called “God Money Mafia”. After being with multiple groups growing up, he finally took his rightful place creating his own brand.
“How did I get the name OG and I’m so young”. It came from a big dawg name T- Man who I use to break bread with”. “Once he seen how I was moving and how I was stepping he began calling me OG even though I was young as fuck”. “I think he was just observing how I was in command of my circle and how I had a wise spirit and I rap like an older head, nothing like a young artist”.
Hometown: Sarasota, FL
I grew up listening to: "Jay-Z & Lil Wayne because I think as far as complete artist you can’t say you’re a complete artist unless you can create a dope record on any beat. Staying in your lane is okay, but if you can rap within different genres and conquer your own lane that’s amazing! And if a fan or listener can hear a beat and see you on it, that makes you a complete artist.
there's not too many young artist I feel can rap on anything and it’s enjoyable and quality music. it’s not many that can accomplish it.
My style’s been compared to: 2pac, Meek Mill, Nas, J.cole, with a splash of Future. I do not think my new music has too much of anybody else sound pretty much just sounds like me Pure OG. But it’s Hip Hop Listeners will Compare you to Other Artist.
I’m going to blow up because: "I am me; I'm doing me and I’m creating my own wave. There’s nobody that can rap like me at a high level. I’ve been told it’s like I have battle rap bars on great beats. I’m like a lyrical, Trap and Soulful Artist all in one. At the same time I’m delivering a message. I just call it being versatile.
What’s your most slept-on song, and why? I have five , but one of them is Life Happens because it’s just one of the most authentic records bar for bar that’s my life and the beat sings to your spirit.
My standout records to date have been:
Armaghetto, Drug War, Flava, Can’t Pretend, Time Is Money, 32 Bars Freestyle, Hate the Sin-Love the Sinner, Amerikkas kNightmare, Broken Promises, Us or dem.
My standout moments to date have been: Throwing my own show in my city and headlining it. Creating multiple music videos from my project.
Most people don’t know: I’m Haitian and I’m allergic to chocolate lol.
I’m going to be next: “It’s inevitable. This Energy and presence I’m bringing to the rap game is a once every 10 years generational artistry”.
